Founded in 1994, Clarke Road Transport is one of Atlantic Canada’s leading truckload carriers assuring prompt, reliable and cost effective service. Our fleet of modern equipment consists of 175 power units (150 owner operators and 25 company tractors) and over 300 trailers and we provide full truckload services throughout Canada and the United States. Our core operations include longhaul, flatbed, and intermodal services. In addition to the Head Office in Halifax we have facilities in Montreal, QC, St. John’s, NF and Milton, ON.

Over the past several years Clarke Road Transport has experienced significant growth. In November of 1997 Clarke Road Transport started a flatbed operation based in St. John’s Newfoundland. This operation offers truckload and less than truckload services throughout Canada and the United States.The division has seen dynamic and successful growth and now has terminals in St. John's, NF, and Halifax, NS. Currently, the flatbed division fleet has over 60 power units with a variety of highway equipment including drop decks, low boys, and flat decks. Collectively the flatbed division is strategically positioned to serve the Atlantic Canadian market with respect to the offshore, mining and construction industries. Clarke Road Transport expanded on January 8, 2001 with the opening of a new operation in Montreal.

Once again, Clarke Road Transport is pleased to announce another expansion, this time in the Ontario Market with the opening of a new office in Milton, Ontario.  The Milton Van operation will focus on capturing growth opportunities in the Ontario Market.  We have high expectations that this operation will achieve tremendous growth and results.  Moreover, this new operation should further enhance Clarke Road Transport's distinctive competency in the marketplace as a premier truckload carrier.
